He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Thompson and Lois Thompson; his wife Norma Jean Campbell; and his siblings, Beverly Claypool (James) and Donald Thompson (Joan).
He is survived by: his children, Debra, Randy, Jane (Derek), Jennifer, Julie (Dave), John (Amie) and Teresa; his grandchildren, Brandi (Gary), LeAnn, Cory (Danielle), Jeff (Christine), Skylar, Taylor (Vicki), Trace (Heidi), Austin (Concha), Cody (Ashlea), Lane, Hayden, Kaleb (Taylor), Cierra, Nicole (Adam), Coltin and Kayla (Corey); his sister Betty Casey (Thompson) of Wyoming; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Harrison (Robert) of Danville, James, Devorah Campbell (Jones), Robert Campbell (Winiford), Harriett Givens (Gorman), Leona Givens (William), Juanita Campbell, Lois Campbell, Herbert Campbell (Mary Alice) and Walter Campbell (Billy); and also, Mike and Barb Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
