We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2018, at the age of 83, Joan C. Lockard (Oakwood, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Cole and Martha Cole (Allison); her son James; and her siblings, Donald, Stephen, James Cole and Virginia Spencer.

She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Gary Lockard (Crystal) of Danville, IL, William Lockard of Oakwood and Susan Childers (Jimmy) of Collison; and her sister Colleen Miller of Enon, OH. She is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
