She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bland Hill and Esther Olive Hill (Chaussee); her husband Wellington Jack Strickfaden; her sister Marilyn Jean Craig (Hill); and her son-in-law John Kolar.

She is survived by: her sister Phyllis Richardson (Robert) of Moberly, MO; her children, Joan Tracy (Bill) of Fredericksburg, TX, Susan Kolar (Strickfaden) of Oakwood Hills, IL, Mark Strickfaden of Crystal Lake, IL and Scott Strickfaden (Jami) of McHenry, IL; her grandchildren, Jill Khoury (Issa), Keith Hallen, David Kolar (Erika), Megan Petty (Bryan), Benjamin Strickfaden (Phyllis), Daniel Strickfaden, Caroline Strickfaden and Kaitlyn Strickfaden; and her great grandchildren, Giovanna, Leila, Ilona Khoury, Brooklyn Kolar and Victoria Strickfaden.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Evangelical Free Church Playground Project.
