He is survived by: his wife Tracy Witt; his son Mikey; his parents, Matti Makinen and Helmi Makinen; his sister Raija Weiershauser; and his parents-in-law, Rick, Alice Witt, Ricky Witt (Ginny) and Rusty Witt (Elizabeth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
