He was predeceased by: his parents, Kern E. Finley and Connie B. Finley (O'Dell); his siblings, Edward Finley, Leona Decker, Edith Mulvihill, Marilyn Boliek and Delores Semelka; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Finley.
He is survived by: his wife Louise I. Acklin; his children, Connie P. Finley-Drury (Ben) of Athens, Aaron D. Finley of Mt. Zion and Leon W. Finley of Decatur; and his brother Larry Finley of Missouri. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
