It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerris Maples of Oakley, Illinois, born in Caruth, Missouri, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Edward and Mary Estella Crim (Bennett); and her siblings, Zelma O'Connor and Carroll Crim. She is survived by: her husband Hank Maples of Oakley, IL; her children, Patrick Maples (Paula) of Orange Park, Florida, Pamela Smith (Charles) of Decatur and Susan O'Riley (Jack) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Jason, Jody, Donald, Jonathan, Amber, Jared, Zachary, Aaron and Stephanie; and her brother Dennis Parker Crim (Janet) of Senath, MO.. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
