She was predeceased by: her father Robert Rose; and her brother Robert Rose, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Dana Rose (Applegate) of Oakland, IL; her husband Dick Edward Nixon; her son Jared Nixon (Hillary Stackhouse) of Champaign, IL; her siblings, James Rose of Jasper, TX and Lisa Rose Buckmaster of Oakland, IL; and her grandchildren, Chase Nixon, Zachary Nixon, Isadora Kafman, Henry Kafman, Haydn Kafman and Genevive Kafman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Krabel Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Oakland (215 E Main St, Oakland, IL 61943). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
