He was predeceased by: his children, Michael and Colleen Romanowski; his brother Chester Romanowski; and his parents, Chester Romanowski and Marion Horton Romanowski.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Wadley Romanowski of Bolingbrook; his children, Heather Marshall (David Marshall) of Wisconsin, Tomas Romanowski of Bolingbrook and Weston Romanowski of Chicago; his grandchildren, Maxwell Harper, Jaden Miller, Chase Harper and Gabriel Romanowski; his great grandchild Serafina Miller; his siblings, Loranette Martin, Jené Roth Kaczynski, Randy Romanowski, Jodee Hartjen and Fond; and also Adored.
