It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Carla Adams (Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois), who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Phillip Adams; and her parents, Edward Sorensen and Ruth Sorensen. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Brainer (Robert), Edward Adams (Cynthia) and Daniel Adams (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Julie (James), Kristin, Joseph (Christine), Edward (Han Yan) and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Arianna, Hayden, Logan, Anakin, Brennan, Adalyn, Gracyn, Zander, Jack, Azalea, Rowan, Evelyn and Hannah.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home (17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
