It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monireh Hashemi (Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois), who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother John Farhangui. She is survived by: her siblings, Jila, Deli and Lida; her spouse Dr. Mahmood Hashemi; her children, Dr. Farah and Dr. Kamran Hashemi (Tracey); her grandchildren, Haley, George, Henry, John and Montgomery; her nieces and nephews, Bijan and Shirin; and her sister-in-law Jean Farhangui.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Family Services 7000 W. 111th St, Worth, Illinois 60482 to assist Afghan refugees.
