He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Merlino De Leon and Pilar Guerrero Filart; and his siblings, Merlino Jr. Filart (late Paz) and Jose Mario Filart (Delia). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Alim; his daughter Erika Haubach (Nick); his granddaughter Alexandria "Lexi" Haubach; and his siblings, Milagros Regala (Rufino), Estelita Jamoralin (Jesse), Aurora Ballesteros (Oscar), Guia De Luna (Wency), Antonino Filart (late Linda), Vida Filart and Renato Filart (Susan).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home (17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
