In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Amelia Garcia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Amelia Garcia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Javier; her children, Amelynn Ochotorena (Norman) and Joseph Javier (Wendy); and her grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle Ochotorena, Nya, Jaiden and Adrian Javier. She is also survived by wife, a wonderful mother and devoted grandmother, always placing her family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home (17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lord Catholic Church (1S314 Summit Ave, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181).
In lieu of flowers the Javier family would appreciate memorial contributions to be made towards the funeral expenses, as they navigate this difficult time.
