He was predeceased by: his parents, James Evey and Patricia Evey; and his brother Robert Evey. He is survived by: his son Jake Evey; his sister Kay Evey (Charles Hilsinger); his nephew Mark Aasal (Ashley); and his great-niece Alice Aasal.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edmund Catholic Church (188 S Oak Park Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302).
