He was predeceased by: his wives, Ann and Marie; his sister Nancy Rodgers; his brothers-in-law, Jack Rodgers, Benjamin Derauf and Richard Derauf; and his stepson Gary Severson.
He is survived by: his children, Roy Jr. (Caroline), Frank (Laurie), William (Dana), Kristen Miles (Randy) and Kathryn Fryxell (Dan); his brother-in-law Dr. Donald Derauf; and his stepdaughter-in-law Marianne Severson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
