He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary; his son William "Bill" McCloskey (Jamie Bergen); his granddaughter Sylvie McCloskey; his siblings, James (Pam), Gerald (Berni), Thomas (Mary Jo) and William (Sue); his brother-in-law Mike Houlihan (Mary); and his nieces and nephews, Michelle McCloskey (Christian Bernal), Quinn, Alana, Kaylene, Dan McCloskey (Shannon), Maggie Bax (Andy), Molly McCloskey, Michael McCloskey, Katelyn Eruteya (Mudiaga), William Houlihan and Paddy Houlihan.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Giles Church (1045 Columbian Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
