He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hannan and William Hannan; his brother William Hannan; and his son Brendan T Hannan. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathryn Rohan (late Barry) and Mark Hannan (Barb Anderson); his wife Loretta; his children, James J Hannan and Cathleen R Hannan; and his grandchildren, Monica Stolte (Alex), Chloe Hannan (Katie Bone), Renee Hannan, Shannon Kenny, Charlotte Kenny, Colin Kenny, Liam Kenny, Lauryn Kenny, Elizabeth Kenny, Aidan and Owen.
The family would like to thank the Chicago Bar Association Wolf Fund and the Illinois Bar Foundation for the continued financial support that provided for James to be cared for at home.
