She was predeceased by: her parents, Tjarda Huizinga and Raymond Huizinga; and her brothers, John Huizinga (Jean) and Andy Huizinga (Eva). She is survived by: her husband Henry Speelman; her children, Cindy Speelman and Dave Speelman (Nelda); her grandsons, Luke, Nathan and Mark; and her sister Alvina VanDenend (late Mel). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
