He was predeceased by: his wife Josefa Lee Hammond; his daughter Deborah Cole; and his parents, Lawrence J. Hammond and Alice M. Zuffante. He is survived by: his brothers, Gerald Hammond, Joseph and Charles Zuffante; his nephew Steve; and his nieces, Sharon and Susan Hammond.
