She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Eva Murray Stead (Samuel); her brother John (Hilda); and her son David (Maricruz). She is survived by: her husband Samuel James Rae, Jr.; her daughter Deborah Bray (Vince); and her grandchildren, Caitlin and Collin.
