Elizabeth Ann Payne Obituary

Elizabeth Ann (Caryl) Payne of Oak Park, Illinois passed away on August 25 at the age of 87.

She was born to Clifton and Mary Caryl of Marysville, Ohio.

She is survived by three children, Jeff (Bernadette), Mary Ann Lux (Brad) and Chris, and was preceded in death by her son Michael (Carla).

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Bryan (Leah) and Kevin (Drea) Lux, Damon Payne, and Vanessa Farlow (Steven).

Ann was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, River and Maxwell Lux.

Ann was a dedicated nurse for over 50 years. She worked many years for the VNA in Chicago as well as Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital and the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Ann enjoyed time with her family and friends and was a lover of music and cats. Her heart was always open to those in need and she was loved by many.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the kind and loving staff at Azura-Fox Point and St. Croix Hospice who eased Ann's final years and days, and to Ann's 'bestie' Tunisia for her compassion and dedication. Mom loved you all.

Ann will be laid to rest with her parents at Oakdale Cemetery in Marysville, Ohio.
