He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Kmiec and Irene A. Kmiec; his sister Kathleen Carr (Charles Carr); his nephew Matthew Myers (Jacqueline Bussie); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Myers (Clarence Myers) and Carla Brock (Larry Brock).
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Kmiec; his children, Amelia Kmiec (Thomas House) and Jeffrey Kmiec (Rebecca Kmiec-Price); his grandsons, James and Daniel House; his nephews, Col. Michael Carr, Jeremy Carr (Michael Quimby), Dr. Jason Brock (Karen Brock) and Dr. Justin Brock (Renee Brock); and his niece Lori McLamb (Michael McLamb).
