He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel A. Foley and Katharine G. Jennings; his wife Kathleen R. Foley; his children, Daniel (Erin) of River Forest and Claire Hansen (Peter) of Issaquah; and his sister Dorothy F. Regan (Daniel T. Regan).
He is survived by: his grandsons, Connor, William and Paul.
