He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joan Thompson and Donald Thompson of Oak Park; and his siblings, Susan Drane (Robert), Nancy Jackson, Donald Thompson (Nadine), Michael Thompson (Mary Ann), Mary Thompson, Patricia Harvey (John), Dennis Thompson, James Thompson (Diane Kelley) and Joan Backes (late John). He was also cherished by thirteen nieces and nephews, and eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews.
