She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob"; her child J. R. Hale; and her sibling Cleo Scott Carson (late Inez). She is survived by: her children, Eric (Karen), Mary Jo Schmitz (Mike) and Leslie Ely (Ed); her grandchildren, Ryan (Katie), David (Maggie), Michael (Tonya), Scott, McKinley "Mac", Samantha and Harry; her great grandchildren, T. J., Kiai, Nora, Elliot and Payton; and her brother Jack Carson.
