With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vinnette V. Bernard of Oak Lawn, Illinois, who passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Bernard; and her siblings, Patrick Walker (Peggy), Dorothy Martinez (late Julius Cesar) and Betty Cusimano (late Frank). She is survived by: her children, Roy Bernard (Ann), Laura Sandt (Daniel), Brian Bernard (Michelle) and Lynn Bernard; her grandchildren, Madeline Bernard, Tyler Bernard, Grace Bernard and Brooke Bernard; and her sister Jacqueline Maret (late Charles). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (9701 Brandt Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery (11333 S Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
