He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria A. "Gela" Toranzo; his daughter Joanne Carrizales (Jessie); his grandsons, Jonathan (Mariana) and Jason Carrizales (Josie); his great grandchildren, Alexia, Mato, Jessie and Jameson; and his siblings, Rafael and Pilar Toranzo. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Phase 4 of the State of Illinois COVID-19 guidelines visitation is limited to 50 people at all times.
