He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugeniusz Swiatek and Ludmila Swiatek. He is survived by: his spouse Malgorzata M. Swiatek; his children, Przemyslaw Swiatek (Carissa) and Katherine Swiatek (Christopher Cowdrey); his grandchildren, Dagmara Swiatek, Helena Swiatek and Elzbieta Swiatek; and his siblings, Marlena Duraj, Beata Kwiecien and Slawka Kita.
