He was predeceased by: his wives, Nancy Pemberton and Patricia K. O'Boyle Pemberton; his brother John Pemberton (Bernadette); and his parents, Guy Pemberton and Agnes Pemberton.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Pemberton (Bill Rasor), Brian Pemberton (Kathleen) and Patrick Pemberton (Michelle); his stepchildren, Donna Gasior (Terry), Thomas O'Boyle (Donna), Margaret Clifford, Nancy Leifker (Barney) and Daniel O'Boyle (Allison); his grandchildren, Eric, Brian, James (Kandyce), David, Lauren Pemberton (Matthew Anderson) and Krystin White (Matthew); and his stepgrandchildren, Ann Gasior, Laura Gobin (Chris), Jaclyn Novak (Mike), Jamie Mahalik (Murphy), Michelle O'Boyle (Nathan Flynn), Lynn Loynd (Brennan), Matthew O'Boyle (Beth), Carolyn, Kathleen Clifford, Kelli Leifker (Kyle Wattman), Ryan, Kevin Leifker, Kiegan, Liam and Finley O'Boyle.
