It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maureen M. Yerkes of Oak Lawn, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myles Dolan and Sylvia Dolan; and her siblings, Myles Dolan (Maureen), Judith Secker (Gene) and Peggy Wood.
She is survived by: her husband Roy A. Yerkes; her children, Margaret Hanania, Mark Yerkes and Christine Molenhouse (Gary); her grandchildren, Kristina Haney (Robert), Samantha Gutierrez (Eduardo), Matthew, Theresa Hanania and Nicholas Molenhouse; her great grandchildren, Makayla, Devin, Sloan and Jameson; her sister Mary Ellen Stanley (Daniel); and her brothers-in-law, Philip Wood (Joanne) and Tony Yerkes (Maggi). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (8245 W 111th St, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery (16201 104th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60467).
