She was predeceased by: her husband James M. Bowen; her daughters, Donna M. Gannon and Regina Lynn; and her siblings, Audrey Harrelson, Mae McCarty, Ernest Wilson Cook and Thomas Carlton Cook.
She is survived by: her son Gordon Bowen (Patricia); her son-in-law Bill Gannon; her brother Bennie Cook; and her half-siblings, John Cook and Carrie Cook. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
