It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie B. Schmidt (Oak Lawn, Illinois), who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Schmidt; her parents, Francis "Pete" Ertz and Mary Ertz; and her siblings, Gene Ertz (Elenor), Lorraine Hoenig (Bernard) and Mildred Ertz.
She is survived by: her children, Sara, Phillip (Daffodil) and Mary Schmidt; her grandchildren, Matthew and Ava Schmidt; and her siblings, Marcella Ertz and Ernest Ertz (Shirley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
