It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lora Van Fleet (Oak Lawn, Illinois), who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lora Van Fleet to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert A. Van Fleet; her parents, William Runkle and Ella Runkle (Cashman); and her sisters, Evelyn and Louise. She is also survived by her five children, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers a memorial may be donated to First Christian Church in Galesburg; designated to the Congo Project, a program that she was much committed to.
