He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Charlene; his children, Larry Berndt Jr. and Laura Berndt; his stepchildren, Kelly Mackessy (Timothy), Leslie Lawson (John) and Dawn Booth; and his siblings, Billy (Molly), Carol Piotrowski (Dave), Bobby, Richie, Jimmy and Cindy. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
