He is survived by: his spouse Sharon; his children, Aaron Mahlfeldt (Cheryl Rego), Maegan Fookes (Corey), Amanda Boerema, Chris Boerema (Adriana) and Andrew Mahlfeldt; his grandchildren, Justin, Malena, Henry, Will, Ethan, Lucas, Domenik and Isabella; his parent Theresa Mahlfeldt; and his siblings, Craig Mahlfeldt (Cindy), Pamela Peele (Bob) and Keith Mahlfeldt (Janet).

In lieu of flowers, memorials to International Gospel Mission in Abaco, Bahamas are appreciated.
