With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kevin Robert Benak of Chicago, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen Benak and Catherine Benak; his brother-in-law Robert Lo Verde; and his niece Emma. He is survived by : his wife Karyn; his children, Alexandra, Samantha and Kevin "KJ"; his sisters, Kimberly Sullivan (Daniel) and Karen Santoro (Joseph); his sisters-in-law, Janette Kowalsky (Christopher), Denise Lo Verde (James Slee) and Kristin Tyrcha (Joseph); his goddaughter Hannah Santoro (Joseph Paruta); his nieces and nephews, Chloe, Bailey, Tess, Casey, Mia, Jacob, Cooper and Joey; and his pet Jack.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blake-Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W 103rd St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A Mass was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Christina Church (11005 S Homan Ave, Chicago, IL 60652).

In lieu of flowers, donations to New Valentine Alano, a non-profit facility located in Bridgeport where Kevin attended AA meetings in the past, c/o Kevin Benak would be appreciated.
