He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Darlene; his sons, Craig (Kelly), Dan, Ben and Alex (Danielle); his grandchildren, Molly, Maeve and Eleanor; and his sisters, Sharon Diffenderfer (Kent) and Joyce Welsh (late John).

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beverly Ridge Funeral Home (10415 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60655). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Germaine Parish (10415 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60655).
