He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Murphy and Mary Murphy; and his sister Mary Catherine (late Allan). He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Patrick Murphy, Michael Murphy (Jackie), Kathleen Murphy, Colleen Bila (Mike) and Thomas Murphy (Tia); his grandchildren, Ryan (Kim), Mark, Daniel (Brooke), Thomas (Alyssa), Courtney (Anthony), Michael (Maggie), Grace and Emma; his great grandchildren, Millie and Scarlett; and his sisters, Eileen, Donna (late Edward) and Celia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Germaine Church (9711 S Kolin Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
