With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Marie Bergwall (Oak Lawn, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon; and her parents, Joseph Ellison and Ingeborg Ellison. She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Van Horn (Brad), Diane Samuelson and Lori Tricarico; her grandchildren, David Van Horn, Lauren Van Horn, Kyle Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Sara Du Reau (Martin) and Kayla Henderson (Nicholas); her great grandchildren, Steele Henderson and Charles Du Reau; and her brother Clifford Ellison.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Covenant Church (9230 S Pulaski Rd, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Harbor in her honor, continuing her legacy of faith and service.
