He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores McAleenan; and his brothers, Hugh (Virginia), Michael (Ursula) and Frank (Karen). He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Chiaro (Nick) and Jack (late Janet). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
