She was predeceased by: her husband Edward D. Garrett; her parents, Thomas Gillice and Mae Gillice; and her siblings, Shirley Moore and James Gillice.
She is survived by: her children, Edward (Donna), Kurt (Michelle) and Deanne Gustafson (Brian); her grandchildren, Ariana Hayes (Matt), Amanda Sisley (Matt), Nathan Garrett (Courtney), Edward, Ryan (Marilina), Daniel, Elise Gustafson and Sam Garrett; and her great grandchildren, Caiden, Ethan, Colton, Brynna, Brielle and Georgia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
