He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Cortner and Fanny Cortner (Walton); his wife Berniece; his children, Charlotte Gutman and Michael Brooks; and his brother Paul Cornter.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Brooks, Stephen Brooks and Sharon Rivard (Rick); and his sisters, Margaret Hayes, Janet Whisman and Carol Wampler. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
