She was predeceased by: her husband Edward W. Szczepanski; her parents, Vincent Tarnawa and Waleria Tarnawa; and her brother Edward V. Tarnawa. She is survived by: her children, Julie Deisinger (Robert), Steven Szczepanski, Anthony Stevens and Alice Stevens (James Elson). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
