He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Gillies and Isabella Gillies; his wife Marjorie Gillies (Hakes); his children, Robin Black (Steve Manos), Jeffrey Gillies (Randie), Jason Gillies (Jennifer) and Robert Gillies; his grandchildren, Allison, Jadyn and Olivia; his nieces and nephews, Melissa O'Rourke-Skoda, Barbara Lewis, Steven O'Rourke, Glen O'Rourke and Rick Lewis; and his son Jeff.
