With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Demetra Stathopoulos of Oak Lawn, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2020 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George G. Stathopoulos; her sibling Niko Fotopoulos (late Aphrodite); her brother-in-law Gus Stathis (late Mary); and her nephew James Stathis. She is survived by: her children, Dr. George Stathopoulos (Cynthia), YiaYia (Anna) of Nicholas, Christa Pigeon (Dylan) and John Stathopoulos; her niece Georgia Stathis; and her nephew Nick Stathopoulos (Eleni). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the above named church would be appreciated.
