He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles P. Kocanda and Margaret Kocanda; his wife Patricia Jozwiak; his children, Charles Kocanda Jr. (Barbara) and Cynthia Rhoades (Wilburn Jr.); his grandchildren, Edward, Ellie, Wilburn "Scot" (Bridget) and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Alice, Henry, Mae and Julie; and his sisters, Charlotte Hofman, Arlene Adaszak and Rosemary Tully. He was also cherished by 5 nieces and nephews.
