She was predeceased by: her sister Betty Carter (Gay); and her parents, Thomas Goetz and Walburga Goetz. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Ring (Margaret) and Pamela Ring; her grandchildren, Jacob Ring and Christian Ring; and her sister Joyce Schmidt (late John).
