She was predeceased by: her spouse Gust Platipodis; her parents, Katerina Koroneu and Andreas Koroneu; and her siblings, George Koroneu, Chris Koroneu and Nictarios Koroneu.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Platipodis (Mary), George Platipodis (Jennifer), Yia Yia of Alyssa and Denny Platipodis; and her extended family, Filiatra and Messinia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (10301 Kolmar Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
