She is survived by: her children, Anthony Balsam (Marietta), Martin Balsam, Betti Balsam-Ramon and Paul Balsam (Karen); and her grandchildren, Caitlin Balsam (Brian Hagen), Peter, Bridget Balsam (Dan Cantone), Ellen Balsam, Renee Shipley and Alicia Montez.
