She was predeceased by: her parents, Bartolomej Soltis and Anna Soltis; and her husband Edwin Panek. She is survived by: her children, Gary Panek (Kathleen) and Lynn Shimek (Fred); her grandchildren, Kyle Shimek, Kurtis Shimek, Troy Panek, Katelyn Shimek and Brandon Panek; and her great grandchildren, Lyle Shimek, Ava Shimek and Mia Shimek.
A Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
