He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Contreras; his children, Elizabeth Ortiz, John Contreras and Marianna Kirk (Brian); his grandchildren, Edward Ortiz (Maria), Victoria Ortiz, Drake Mares, Daniel Sheridan, Martina Contreras, Olivia Contreras, Benjamin Contreras, Jacob Bernard and Thomas Kirk; his stepdaughters, Beatrice Hernandez, Sonia Galvan (David), Elizabeth Reyna and Leticia Reyna; his stepgrandchildren, Juan Rivera, Angel Rivera, Erica Hernandez, Adrianna Velarde, Olivia Aguirre, Emma Aguirre and Jonathan Zavala; and his siblings, Ruth Castaner, Sam Contreras and Mary Rodriguez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
